Shìjiè qíjì jīnzìtǎ/La pirámide, maravilla del mundo/The Pyramids, World Wonder **
The ancient Egyptian pyramid is a monument of ancient civilization, known as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
金字塔究竟是jīnzìtǎjiūjìngshì怎么来的zěnmeláide呢ne?/¿Cómo llegaron a construirse las pirámides?/How did the pyramids come to be built?
It turns out that in ancient Egypt there was a belief circulating: “When a person dies, as long as the body is well preserved, the soul, upon ascending to heaven, will be resurrected.”
The pyramids are precisely the mausoleums that ancient Egyptian pharaohs built to preserve their own bodies.
The pyramids of ancient Egypt, large and small, number more than 70 in total, all located in a desert 10-20 kilometers southwest of Cairo city, and to this day three pyramids still stand like giants, among them the Pyramid of Khufu is the largest, called the Great Pyramid, with a history of four to five thousand years up to now.
It is said that building this pyramid took exactly 30 years.
The pyramid covers an area of 52,900 square meters, the base is a square, each side more than 30 meters long, with a height of 146.5 meters, but due to thousands of years of weathering and erosion, it now stands at 138 meters.
/planos inclinados apuntan directamente a las cuatro direcciones este, oeste, sur y norte, todos con una inclinación de 51 grados 52 minutos, la diferencia de altura entre la esquina sureste y la esquina noroeste de la pirámide es de apenas 1.27 centímetros, lo que muestra lo preciso de su construcción./inclined faces point directly to the four directions of east, west, south and north, all with an inclination of 51 degrees 52 minutes, the height difference between the southeast corner and the northwest corner of the pyramid is only 1.27 centimeters, showing the precision of its construction.
¡Qué imaginación tan rica!/On the north face of the pyramid, 17 meters above the ground there is an entrance, through three narrow passages one can reach the interior of the Great Pyramid. Inside are the separate burial chambers of the pharaoh and queen. In the tombs there are several ventilation shafts leading directly to the pyramid's surface. It is said these shafts also served as an exit/entrance for the pharaoh and queen's “souls” to go out for “free movement.” What rich imagination this is.
/Junto a la pirámide, en una gran roca, está tallada una Esfinge, que se dice es la Esfinge de la mitología./Beside the pyramid, on a huge rock, is carved a sphinx, said to be the Sphinx of mythology.
About it there is also a story about a riddle.
It is said the Sphinx often caused trouble on a road leading to Cairo, and upon encountering someone would pose a riddle, and whoever couldn't guess it became its meal.
That riddle was very peculiar, no one could guess it, and no one escaped death, so people no longer dared to walk that road.
/Un día, un joven, al oír de esto, decidió eliminar el peligro para el pueblo, y fue a intentarlo./One day, a young man, hearing of this, decided to eliminate the danger for the people, and went to try.
斯芬克斯一见有人来了Sīfēnkèsīyíjiànyǒurénláile,照例zhàolì出chū了le那条nàtiáo谜语míyǔ:“什么shénme东西早上是dōngxizǎoshangshì四条腿sìtiáotuǐ,到dào了le中午zhōngwǔ是shì两条腿liǎngtiáotuǐ,当dāng太阳tàiyáng落山luòshān时shí又yòu变为biànwéi三条sāntiáo腿tuǐ?”/La Esfinge, al ver que alguien venía, como de costumbre planteó ese acertijo: “¿Qué cosa por la mañana tiene cuatro patas, al mediodía tiene dos patas, y cuando el sol se pone tiene tres patas?”/The Sphinx, seeing someone coming, as usual posed that riddle: “What thing in the morning has four legs, at noon has two legs, and when the sun sets has three legs?”
/“Esto...” el joven sintió que de verdad era difícil de adivinar./“This...” the young man felt it was truly hard to guess.
/“¡Rápido!” gritó la Esfinge apremiante, y al terminar de hablar abrió su enorme boca sangrienta, deseando devorar de un bocado al joven./“Hurry up!” the Sphinx shouted urgently, and having finished speaking opened its huge bloody mouth wide, wishing to swallow the young man in one bite.
但dàn他tā凭píng以往yǐwǎng的de经验jīngyàn,心里想xīnlixiǎng:“别急biéjí!/Pero, basándose en su experiencia pasada, pensó: “¡No te apresures!/But, based on its past experience, it thought: “Don't rush!
This meal won't escape, let's see what solution this young fellow has.”
“是shì——人rén!”/“¡Es... el hombre!”/“It's... man!”
“什么shénme?” What?” the Sphinx felt tremendously shaken, but still wasn't ready to give up, so it asked anxiously: “And why is that?”
Because when a man is just born, he still doesn't know how to walk, he can only crawl with both hands on the ground, isn't that four legs?
人rén长大zhǎngdà后hòu学会xuéhuì了le走路zǒulù,不是búshì变成biànchéng了le两条腿liǎngtiáotuǐ吗ma?/Cuando el hombre crece y aprende a caminar, ¿no se convierte en dos piernas?/When a man grows up and learns to walk, doesn't he become two legs?
当人老了的dāngrénlǎolede时候shíhou,走路zǒulù必须bìxū拄着zhǔzhe拐杖guǎizhàng,这zhè不bú就是jiùshì三条sāntiáo腿tuǐ了le吗ma?”/Cuando el hombre envejece, al caminar debe apoyarse en un bastón, ¿eso no son tres piernas entonces?”/When a man grows old, when walking he must lean on a cane, isn't that then three legs?”
The Sphinx was struck speechless, feeling it had no face to show to people, had no choice but to take its own life.
/Desde entonces, la gente en ese camino volvió a aumentar./From then on, people on that road increased again.
The Sphinx has a total length of 48.8 meters, and a height of 21.3 meters, but unfortunately its beard, which weighed 500 kilograms, was knocked down by Napoleon's army in August 1798, and could never be put back on again.
The Egyptian pyramids show the wisdom and creativity of the ancient Egyptian people, and have become the symbol of Egyptian civilization and even world civilization.
There is also a riddle story about it.
/Dentro están las cámaras funerarias del emperador y de la emperatriz./Inside are the separate burial chambers of the emperor and the empress.
