学校要举行中文 (Discurso/Speech) 比赛。 (Tíngting) 选的题目是《生命的意义》。

En el colegio iba a haber un concurso de (演讲yǎnjiǎng) en chino. El tema que eligió (婷婷Tíngtíng) fue ‘El sentido de la vida’.

The school was holding a Chinese (演讲yǎnjiǎng) contest. The topic (婷婷Tíngtíng) chose was ‘The Meaning of Life’.

场景二/Chǎngjǐng èr/Escena 2/Scene 2

她对家人说：‘有的人为了和平英勇 (Dar la vida/Sacrifice one's life) ，有的人 (Toda la vida/All one's life) 为社会无私 (Entregarse/Dedicate oneself) ，他们的生命都很有意义。’

Le dijo a su familia: ‘Hay quien (牺牲xīshēng) con valentía por la paz, y hay quien se (奉献fèngxiàn) a la sociedad (一辈子yíbèizi) sin pedir nada. Todas esas vidas tienen mucho sentido’.

She told her family: ‘Some people bravely (牺牲xīshēng) for peace, and some (奉献fèngxiàn) selflessly to society (一辈子yíbèizi) . All their lives are very meaningful.’

场景三/Chǎngjǐng sān/Escena 3/Scene 3

‘我要讲一个十三岁小女孩的故事。她 (Padecer una enfermedad incurable/Suffer from a terminal illness) ，和 (Enfermedad/Disease) 顽强地斗争。’

‘Voy a contar la historia de una niña de trece años. (身患绝症shēn huàn juézhèng) y luchó con valor contra la (疾病jíbìng) ’.

‘I'm going to tell the story of a thirteen-year-old girl. She (身患绝症shēn huàn juézhèng) and fought the (疾病jíbìng) bravely.’

场景四/Chǎngjǐng sì/Escena 4/Scene 4

‘她得了 (Cáncer de huesos/Bone cancer) 。手术前，她很镇定，好像 (Despreocupado/Nonchalant) 地说：‘给我 (Amputar/Amputate) 这条腿吧，我要早点回学校。’’

‘Tenía (骨癌gǔ'ái) . Antes de la operación estaba muy tranquila y dijo como (漫不经心màn bù jīngxīn) : ‘ (截掉jiédiào) esta pierna; quiero volver pronto al colegio’’.

‘She had (骨癌gǔ'ái) . Before the operation she was very calm and said, as if (漫不经心màn bù jīngxīn) : ‘ (截掉jiédiào) this leg; I want to get back to school soon.’’

场景五/Chǎngjǐng wǔ/Escena 5/Scene 5

‘她 (Seguir/Follow) 医生的 (Indicaciones/Instructions) 治疗，一滴眼泪也没有流。’

‘ (遵照zūnzhào) las (嘱咐zhǔfù) del médico en el tratamiento y no derramó ni una lágrima’.

‘She (遵照zūnzhào) the doctor's (嘱咐zhǔfù) for her treatment and never shed a single tear.’

场景六/Chǎngjǐng liù/Escena 6/Scene 6

‘可是她的病没有 (Aliviarse/Ease) ， (Células cancerosas/Cancer cells) 转移到了她的肺部和 (Hígado/Liver) 。’

‘Pero su enfermedad no se (减轻jiǎnqīng) , y las (癌细胞ái xìbāo) se extendieron a los pulmones y al (肝部gānbù) ’.

‘But her illness did not (减轻jiǎnqīng) , and the (癌细胞ái xìbāo) spread to her lungs and (肝部gānbù) .’

场景七/Chǎngjǐng qī/Escena 7/Scene 7

‘她给同学写信：‘我是冬天里的一 (Clasificador para plantas/Measure word for plants) 小草，春天来了，我会发出 (Tierno y verde/Tender and green) 的新芽。’’

‘Escribió a sus compañeros: ‘Soy (株zhū) hierbecita en invierno; cuando llegue la primavera, echaré brotes nuevos, (又嫩又绿yòu nèn yòu lǜ) ’’.

‘She wrote to her classmates: ‘I am (株zhū) little blade of grass in winter; when spring comes, I'll put out (又嫩又绿yòu nèn yòu lǜ) new shoots.’’

场景八/Chǎngjǐng bā/Escena 8/Scene 8

听到这里， (Mamá,madre/Mom,mother) 的眼睛湿了， (Dudú) 也紧紧地抱住了 (Rocky) 。

Al oír esto, a (妈妈Māmā) se le humedecieron los ojos, y (嘟嘟Dūdū) abrazó fuerte a (洛基Luòjī) .

Hearing this, (妈妈Māmā) 's eyes grew wet, and (嘟嘟Dūdū) hugged (洛基Luòjī) tightly.

场景九/Chǎngjǐng jiǔ/Escena 9/Scene 9

比赛那天， (Tíngting) 的 (Discurso/Speech) 感动了所有的人，大家给了她热烈的掌声。

El día del concurso, el (演讲yǎnjiǎng) de (婷婷Tíngtíng) emocionó a todo el mundo y le dieron un caluroso aplauso.

On the day of the contest, (婷婷Tíngtíng) 's (演讲yǎnjiǎng) moved everyone, and they gave her warm applause.

场景十/Chǎngjǐng shí/Escena 10/Scene 10

(Tíngting) 说：‘这个小女孩给了我很大的 (Inspiración/Inspiration) 。我要好好学习，让自己的生命更有意义。’

(婷婷Tíngtíng) dijo: ‘Esta niña me dio una gran (启迪qǐdí) . Voy a esforzarme para que mi vida tenga todavía más sentido’.

(婷婷Tíngtíng) said: ‘This little girl gave me great (启迪qǐdí) . I'll work hard to make my own life even more meaningful.’
