(Emperador/Emperor) (Enviar/Send) 一个 (Honrado/Honest) 的 (Ministro/Minister) 去看，可是 (Ministro/Minister) 什么也没看见。

El (皇帝huángdì) (派pài) a un (大臣dàchén) (诚实chéngshí) a verla, pero el (大臣dàchén) no vio nada.

The (皇帝huángdì) (派pài) an (诚实chéngshí) (大臣dàchén) to look, but the (大臣dàchén) saw nothing at all.

场景五/Chǎngjǐng wǔ/Escena 5/Scene 5

(Ministro/Minister) 心想：‘ (¡Qué desastre!/Oh no!) ！说 (La verdad/The truth) ，我会被 (Destituir/Dismiss) 的。’他只好说布很漂亮。

El (大臣dàchén) pensó: ‘ (糟糕zāogāo) Si digo la (实话shíhuà) , me (撤职chèzhí) ’. Así que dijo que la tela era preciosa.

The (皇帝huángdì) went himself and couldn't see it either, but he (假装jiǎzhuāng) , ‘ (嗯ńg) , how beautiful!’

场景七/Chǎngjǐng qī/Escena 7/Scene 7

(Emperador/Emperor) 穿着‘ (Ropa nueva/New clothes) ’去 (Desfile/Parade) ，大家都说好看。

El (皇帝huángdì) salió de (游行yóuxíng) con su ‘ (新衣服xīn yīfu) ’, y todo el mundo decía que era preciosa.

The (皇帝huángdì) went on (游行yóuxíng) in his ‘ (新衣服xīn yīfu) ’, and everyone said they looked wonderful.

场景八/Chǎngjǐng bā/Escena 8/Scene 8

这时，一个小孩大声说出了 (Realidad/Reality) ：‘ (Emperador/Emperor) 什么也没穿呀！’

(Dudú) 喊得最大声，台上的‘ (Ministro/Minister) ’们都 (Quedarse de piedra/Be stunned) 了， (Público/Audience) 都笑了。

(嘟嘟Dūdū) lo gritó con todas sus fuerzas; los ‘ (大臣dàchén) ’ del escenario se (呆住dāizhù) y el (观众guānzhòng) se rio.

(嘟嘟Dūdū) shouted it the loudest; the ‘ (大臣dàchén) ’ on stage were (呆住dāizhù) , and the (观众guānzhòng) laughed.

场景十/Chǎngjǐng shí/Escena 10/Scene 10

演完以后，老师说：‘我们都要像这个小孩一样，做 (Honrado/Honest) 的人。’

Al terminar, la profesora dijo: ‘Todos tenemos que ser como ese niño: personas (诚实chéngshí) ’.
