场景一/Chǎngjǐng yī/Escena 1/Scene 1

夏天， (Dudú) 一个人抱着一个大 (Sandía/Watermelon) 吃，谁也不给。

Un día de verano, (嘟嘟Dūdū) se estaba comiendo una gran (西瓜xīguā) él solo, sin darle a nadie.

One summer day, (嘟嘟Dūdū) was eating a big (西瓜xīguā) all by himself and wouldn't share it with anyone.

场景二/Chǎngjǐng èr/Escena 2/Scene 2

(Papá,padre/Dad,father) 说：‘你真像 (Zhu Bajie/Zhu Bajie) ！我给你讲一个《 (Viaje al Oeste/Journey to the West) 》里的故事。’

(爸爸Bàba) dijo: ‘¡Pareces (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) ! Te voy a contar una historia del ‘ (西游记Xīyóujì) ’’.

(爸爸Bàba) said, ‘You're just like (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) ! Let me tell you a story from ‘ (西游记Xīyóujì) ’.’

场景三/Chǎngjǐng sān/Escena 3/Scene 3

‘ (Monje Tang/Tang Monk) 带着三个 (Discípulo/Disciple) 去西天 (Buscar las escrituras/Fetch the scriptures) 。有一天热极了，大家又累又 (Tener sed/Thirsty) 。’

‘El (唐僧Táng Sēng) viajaba al Oeste con sus tres (徒弟túdì) para (取经qǔjīng) . Un día hacía muchísimo calor y todos estaban cansados y con (口渴kǒukě) ’.

‘The (唐僧Táng Sēng) was traveling west with his three (徒弟túdì) to (取经qǔjīng) . One day it was terribly hot, and everyone was tired and (口渴kǒukě) .’

场景四/Chǎngjǐng sì/Escena 4/Scene 4

‘ (Sun Wukong/Sun Wukong) 去找水果， (Zhu Bajie/Zhu Bajie) (Gritar/Cry out) 着：‘ (Hermano Mono/Brother Monkey) ，等等我！’他走得 (Garganta/Throat) 都快 (Echar humo/Smoke) 了。’

‘ (孙悟空Sūn Wùkōng) fue a buscar fruta, y (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) (叫唤jiàohuan) : ‘¡ (猴哥Hóu gē) , espérame!’. Anduvo tanto que la (喉咙hóulóng) le (冒烟màoyān) ’.

‘ (Zhu Bajie/Zhu Bajie) 走到一个 (Fresco y a la sombra/Cool and shady) 的地方， (Quitarse/Take off) 衣服 (Descansar/Rest) 一会儿。树上有几个 (Pera ácida/Sour pear) ，树下有一个大 (Sandía/Watermelon) ，他 (Elegir/Choose) 了 (Sandía/Watermelon) 。’

‘ (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) llegó a un sitio (阴凉yīnliáng) , se (脱下tuōxià) la ropa y se puso a (歇xiē) un rato. En el árbol había unas (酸梨suānlí) y debajo una gran (西瓜xīguā) , y él (选xuǎn) la (西瓜xīguā) ’.

‘Partió la (西瓜xīguā) en cuatro trozos y (打算dǎsuan) guardar uno para el (师父shīfu) , otro para (孙悟空Sūn Wùkōng) y otro para (沙僧Shā Sēng) ’.

场景七/Chǎngjǐng qī/Escena 7/Scene 7

‘可是他吃了一块又一块，四块 (Sandía/Watermelon) 都吃光了。他 (Limpiarse/Wipe) 干净嘴，心想：别让 (Hermano Mono/Brother Monkey) 知道！’

‘Pero se comió un trozo tras otro hasta acabarse los cuatro trozos de (西瓜xīguā) . Se (擦cā) bien la boca y pensó: ‘¡Que no se entere el (猴哥Hóu gē) !’’.

‘But he ate one piece after another until all four pieces of (西瓜xīguā) were gone. He (擦cā) his mouth clean and thought, ‘ (猴哥Hóu gē) mustn't find out!’’

场景八/Chǎngjǐng bā/Escena 8/Scene 8

‘ (Sun Wukong/Sun Wukong) 知道了，把 (Cáscara de sandía/Watermelon rind) 扔在路上。 (Zhu Bajie/Zhu Bajie) 刚 (Dar (un paso)/Take (a step) ) 了一步，就踩上去 (Resbalar/Slip) 了，后来又连连 (Caerse/Fall over) 。’

‘ (孙悟空Sūn Wùkōng) se enteró y tiró las (西瓜皮xīguāpí) en el camino. Nada más (迈mài) un paso, (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) las pisó y se (滑倒huádǎo) , y luego no paró de (跌跤diējiāo) ’.

‘Enfadado, apartó las (西瓜皮xīguāpí) de una (踢tī) , pero ya estaba (鼻青脸肿bíqīng-liǎnzhǒng) ’.

‘He angrily (踢tī) the (西瓜皮xīguāpí) away, but he was already (鼻青脸肿bíqīng-liǎnzhǒng) .’

场景十/Chǎngjǐng shí/Escena 10/Scene 10

(Dudú) 哈哈大笑，马上把 (Sandía/Watermelon) 分给了大家：‘我可不想像 (Zhu Bajie/Zhu Bajie) 一样，摔得 (Lleno de moratones/Black and blue) ！’

(嘟嘟Dūdū) se echó a reír y enseguida repartió la (西瓜xīguā) entre todos: ‘¡Yo no quiero acabar como (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) , (鼻青脸肿bíqīng-liǎnzhǒng) !’.

(嘟嘟Dūdū) burst out laughing and immediately shared the (西瓜xīguā) with everyone: ‘I don't want to end up like (猪八戒Zhū Bājiè) , (鼻青脸肿bíqīng-liǎnzhǒng) !’
