演员梦的yǎnyuánmèngde破灭pòmiè/El sueño roto de ser actor/The Shattered Dream of Being an Actor
/Andersen es un famoso escritor de cuentos de hadas del mundo, conocido como el “Rey de los cuentos de hadas”./Andersen is a world-famous fairy tale writer, known as the “King of Fairy Tales.”
Dānmài。/Andersen nació en 1805 en Dinamarca./Andersen was born in 1805 in Denmark.
As a child, Andersen didn't have the dream of becoming a writer, he wanted with all his heart to be an actor.
有yǒu一天yìtiān,14岁的suìde安徒生对母亲说Āntúshēngduìmǔqīnshuō:“妈妈māma,我想当演员wǒxiǎngdāngyǎnyuán!”/Un día, a los 14 años, Andersen le dijo a su madre: “Mamá, ¡quiero ser actor!”/One day, at age 14, Andersen said to his mother: “Mom, I want to be an actor!”
母亲瞪着mǔqīndèngzhe安徒生Āntúshēng,吃惊地chījīngde说shuō:“当演员dāngyǎnyuán?/Su madre lo miró fijamente, y sorprendida dijo: “¿Ser actor?/His mother stared at him, and surprised said: “Be an actor?
那可不行nàkěbùxíng!”/¡Eso no puede ser!”/That won't do!”
/Andersen le explicó seriamente su idea a su madre, pero ella no quería escuchar./Andersen seriously explained his idea to his mother, but she didn't want to listen.
/Él no tuvo más remedio que irse cabizbajo./He had no choice but to walk away with his head hung low.
/A pesar de que su madre no estaba de acuerdo, el deseo de Andersen de ser actor se hizo cada vez más fuerte./Despite his mother's disapproval, Andersen's desire to become an actor grew ever stronger.
/Cada vez que tenía tiempo libre, se encerraba en su habitación a saltar y cantar, o a recitar largos pasajes de diálogo./Whenever he had free time, he would shut himself in his room to jump and sing, or recite long passages of dialogue.
/Alguien bondadoso le regaló una colección de “Tragedias de Shakespeare”, y Andersen se llenó de alegría, a menudo se envolvía en el gran chal de su madre, y actuaba fragmentos de las obras de Shakespeare en casa./Someone kind gave him a collection of “Shakespeare's Tragedies,” and Andersen was overjoyed, often wrapping himself in his mother's large shawl, acting out fragments of Shakespeare's plays at home.
邻居见了línjūjiànle都挺纳闷dōutǐngnàmèn:“这个zhège相貌xiàngmào丑陋chǒulòu的de少年shàonián是不是shìbúshì中zhòng了le邪xié?”/Los vecinos, al verlo, se preguntaban confundidos: “¿Este joven de apariencia fea está poseído por algo?”/Neighbors, seeing this, were puzzled: “Is this ugly-looking youth possessed by something?”
His mother and stepfather, seeing that Andersen had grown up, thought he should do something, so they asked him to become an apprentice.
安徒生坚决Āntúshēngjiānjué不同意bùtóngyì,他tā态度tàidu坚定地jiāndìngde说shuō:“我一定要当演员wǒyídìngyàodāngyǎnyuán!”/Andersen se negó rotundamente, y con actitud firme dijo: “¡Estoy decidido a ser actor!”/Andersen firmly refused, and with a resolute attitude said: “I am determined to be an actor!”
That summer, a theater troupe from Copenhagen, the capital, came to perform, and lacked a few crowd actors, so a close friend recommended Andersen to fill in.
/Andersen se puso muy contento, y actuó con gran esfuerzo./Andersen was overjoyed, and performed with great effort.
/Algunos actores, al verlo tan entusiasta, bromearon: “Oh, joven entusiasta, deberías ir a Copenhague, e ingresar al Teatro Real.” El que lo dijo no tenía intención seria, pero quien lo escuchó sí./Some actors, seeing him so enthusiastic, joked: “Oh, enthusiastic young man, you should go to Copenhagen, and join the Royal Theatre.” The one who said it had no serious intention, but the one who heard it did.
/Andersen decidió ir a la capital a probar suerte./Andersen decided to go to the capital to try his luck.
Gēběnhāgēn。/El 6 de septiembre de 1819, Andersen llegó solo a Copenhague./On September 6, 1819, Andersen arrived alone in Copenhagen.
He first went to find the house of the famous dancer, Madame Schall, and upon entering, the maidservant almost mistook him for a beggar.
/Con mucho insistir, Andersen finalmente pudo ver a la señora Schall./After much pleading, Andersen finally got to see Madame Schall.
Before her, Andersen took his hat as a hand drum, and performed with all his heart.
/Cantó y bailó, esforzándose mucho, pero la señora Schall lo despreciaba por completo./He sang and danced, exerting himself greatly, but Madame Schall looked down on him completely.
/Al terminar la actuación, Andersen fue despedido./After the performance ended, Andersen was sent away.
/Andersen luego se dirigió a la casa del director del Teatro Real, ofreciéndose valientemente para ser actor./Andersen then went to the house of the Royal Theatre's director, boldly volunteering to become an actor.
/El director lo miró de arriba a abajo, y dijo: “Estás demasiado delgado, tu apariencia no es adecuada para actuar.”/The director looked him up and down, and said: “You're too thin, your appearance isn't suited for acting.”
/“Eso se resuelve fácilmente.” respondió Andersen ingenuamente, “Si me pudiera dar cien monedas de salario, podría engordar de inmediato.”/“That's easy to solve.” Andersen answered naively, “If you could give me a hundred coins in salary, I could immediately fatten myself up.”
The director became very angry, suspecting this young man wasn't quite right in the head, and paid no more attention to Andersen.
/Andersen quedó sumamente desilusionado./Andersen was extremely disappointed.
/Sin salida, sin importarle nada, irrumpió en la casa del profesor de canto italiano Siboni./With nowhere to turn, not caring about anything, he barged into the house of the Italian singing professor Siboni.
/El profesor Siboni recibió con gran amabilidad al pobre joven Andersen, y lo animó a cantar una canción en el acto./Professor Siboni received the poor young Andersen very kindly, and encouraged him to sing a song on the spot.
/Andersen se emocionó muchísimo, y cantó con sentimiento un aria, que resultó bastante buena./Andersen was extremely excited, and sang an aria with feeling, which turned out quite well.
/El profesor Siboni de inmediato tomó la decisión, y aceptó a Andersen como alumno./Professor Siboni immediately made up his mind, and accepted Andersen as a student.
But a few months later, Siboni discovered that Andersen's voice had suddenly deteriorated, so he no longer wanted to keep this young man with no future in singing.
/Después de dejar a Siboni, Andersen encontró la manera de entrar en una escuela de danza./After leaving Siboni, Andersen found a way into a dance school.
/Ese año, Andersen ya tenía 16 años./That year, Andersen was already 16.
But the dance teacher also complained that Andersen's legs and feet were clumsy, that he wasn't cut out for dance, and even less could he play any role, and Andersen finally had to leave the dance school in tears.
/Un buen samaritano, al oír de la situación de Andersen, lo llevó a visitar a un actor famoso, para pedirle que evaluara si Andersen tenía talento para actuar./A kind person, hearing of Andersen's situation, took him to visit a famous actor, to ask him to assess whether Andersen had talent for acting.
/El experimentado actor, tras conocer y analizar la situación de Andersen, le dio un consejo sincero: “Hijo, no eres apto para ser actor.”/The experienced actor, after learning about and analyzing Andersen's situation, gave him sincere advice: “Son, you're not suited to be an actor.”
/El sueño de Andersen de ser actor se hizo añicos por completo./Andersen's dream of being an actor was completely shattered.
这zhè让ràng安徒生Āntúshēng又yòu产生chǎnshēng了le另lìng一个yíge念头niàntou:一定yídìng要yào在zài文学创作wénxuéchuàngzuò上shàng有所yǒusuǒ成就chéngjiù!/Esto hizo que Andersen tuviera otra idea: ¡debía lograr algo en la creación literaria!/This gave Andersen another idea: he must achieve something in literary creation!
/Después, con esfuerzo, finalmente tuvo éxito, y se convirtió en un gran escritor mundialmente famoso./Later, with effort, he finally succeeded, and became a world-famous great writer.

Pedagogical Commentary: Fingers: the metaphor of fingers and life philosophy:
1. The transparency of form: Observing 兰 (lán) or 偏 (piān) helps connect the character's shape to its meaning, instead of memorizing it blindly.
2. The leap from character to word: These characters are rarely used alone; learning one opens the door to many new words.
3. Memory through context: Learning a character like 鸽 (gē) together with a real sentence helps far more than memorizing its meaning in isolation.
