我的Wǒde小xiǎo制作zhìzuò/Mi pequeña manualidad/My Little Craft
/Tengo un par de manos cortas y gruesas./I have a pair of short, stubby hands.
/La gente suele decir: “Las manos cortas y gruesas hacen cosas feas.”/People often say: “Short, stubby hands make ugly things.”
But for me it's just the opposite: I love making things, and no matter how difficult something is, I can make it too.
/Una vez, mi mamá cascó unos huevos, y dejó las cáscaras a un lado./Once, my mom cracked some eggs, and set the shells aside.
我Wǒ看着kànzhe被bèi打成dǎchéng两liǎng半bàn的de蛋壳dànké,心想xīnxiǎng:“这Zhè又yòu光guāng又yòu白bái的de蛋壳dànké多duō好看hǎokàn呀ya!/Miré las cáscaras rotas en dos mitades, y pensé: “¡Qué bonitas son estas cáscaras tan lisas y blancas!/I looked at the shells broken into two halves, and thought: “These smooth, white eggshells are so pretty!
/Seguro que hacer una manualidad con ellas sería muy interesante.”/Making a little craft with them would surely be very interesting.”
So I washed the eggshell clean, put sand inside to keep it steady; then I got a piece of paper, cut it into a circle, and cut the edge of the circle into a jagged, saw-tooth shape, and glued it onto the eggshell.
Then, with paper I cut out a chicken head and tail, painted colorful feathers on the head, and also painted a bright red comb, and glued them onto the eggshell.
After finishing this, I felt the little chick seemed to be missing something; looking closely, it turned out the chick's tail had no feathers.
/Enseguida le pinté unas plumas bonitas, y también le añadí alas y unas garritas amarillas./I quickly painted pretty feathers on it, and also added wings and little yellow claws.
啊Ā!/¡Ah!/Ah!
/Ante mis ojos apareció un pollito lleno de vida./A lively little chick appeared right before my eyes.
/Lo miré, y me sentí muy contenta en mi corazón./I looked at it, and felt truly happy inside.
看着看着Kànzhekànzhe,我wǒ似乎sìhū听到tīngdào小鸡xiǎojī在zài“叽叽叽jījījī”地de叫着jiàozhe,好像hǎoxiàng在zài说shuō:“谢谢xièxie你nǐ!”/Mientras lo miraba y lo miraba, me pareció oír al pollito piando “pío, pío, pío”, como si dijera: “¡Gracias!”/As I kept looking at it, I seemed to hear the chick going “cheep, cheep, cheep,” as if it were saying: “Thank you!”
/También me pareció ver a este pollito, saltando de un lado a otro lleno de vida, comiendo y jugando alegremente; era realmente adorable./I also seemed to see this lively, bouncing little chick happily eating and playing; it was truly endearing.
/Cuando fui a la escuela, le entregué a la profesora el pollito que había hecho./When I went to school, I handed the chick I had made to the teacher.
The teacher praised me, said my hands were really skillful, and gave me a pencil as a reward!
Mis manitas cortas y gruesas./I held the pencil, touched my own hands, and thought: “Thank you so much!
My short, stubby little hands. It was you who made such an exquisite little chick, which is what earned me the teacher's praise.”
