Jùrén de huāyuán/El jardín del gigante/The Giant's Garden **
/Hace mucho, mucho tiempo, había un gigante; su casa tenía un gran jardín./Long, long ago, there was a giant; his home had a big garden.
/Una vez, el gigante se fue de viaje lejos; después de la escuela, los niños fueron a jugar a ese jardín./Once, the giant went away on a long trip; after school, the children went to play in that garden.
/En el jardín había hierba verde y flores frescas por todas partes; era hermosísimo./In the garden, there was green grass and fresh flowers everywhere; it was extremely beautiful.
/Los niños corrían y saltaban en el jardín, cantaban y reían, y se divertían muchísimo./The children ran and jumped in the garden, sang and laughed, and had a great time.
/Un día, el gigante regresó./One day, the giant came back.
他Tā看到kàndào那么nàme多duō孩子háizi在zài花园里huāyuán lǐ玩儿wánr,生气地shēngqì de叫jiào起来qǐlái:“这zhè是shì我的wǒde花园huāyuán,不准bùzhǔn你们nǐmen在zài这里zhèlǐ玩儿wánr!”/Al ver a tantos niños jugando en su jardín, gritó enfadado: “¡Este es mi jardín, no os permito jugar aquí!”/Seeing so many children playing in the garden, he shouted angrily: “This is my garden, I don't allow you to play here!”
/Al oírlo, todos los niños se asustaron y salieron corriendo./Upon hearing this, all the children got scared and ran away.
孩子们Háizimen走zǒu后hòu,巨人jùrén在zài花园huāyuán四周sìzhōu围wéi了le一yí道dào墙qiáng,挂guà上shàng一yí块kuài大dà牌子páizi,上面shàngmiàn写xiě着zhe:“禁止jìnzhǐ入内rùnèi!”/Después de que los niños se fueran, el gigante levantó un muro alrededor del jardín y colgó un gran cartel que decía: “¡Prohibida la entrada!”/After the children left, the giant built a wall all around the garden and hung up a big sign that read: “No entry!”
/Llegó la primavera./Spring came.
/Fuera del jardín del gigante había flores frescas y hierba verde por todas partes./Outside the giant's garden, there were fresh flowers and green grass everywhere.
But strangely enough, inside the giant's garden there was nothing at all.
/“¿Por qué la primavera no viene a mi jardín?”, se dijo el gigante a sí mismo./“Why won't spring come to my garden?” the giant said to himself.
/De repente, vio que había un agujero en la esquina del muro, y los niños entraban por él uno tras otro./Suddenly, he saw a hole in the corner of the wall, and the children came crawling in through it one after another.
/Adondequiera que iban los niños, llevaban la primavera consigo./Wherever the children went, they brought spring with them.
/En un momento, la hierba se puso verde, las flores se abrieron, y aquel lugar pronto volvió a convertirse en un jardín grande y hermoso./In a moment, the grass turned green, the flowers bloomed, and the place quickly became a beautiful big garden again.
/El gigante lo comprendió: “Como soy egoísta, la primavera no quiere venir a mi jardín./The giant understood: “Because I'm selfish, spring doesn't want to come to my garden.
I must take down the sign and tear down the wall, so all the children can come in and play!”
想到Xiǎngdào这儿zhèr,巨人jùrén马上mǎshàng动手dòngshǒu摘zhāi牌子páizi,拆chāi围墙wéiqiáng,对duì孩子们háizimen说shuō:“孩子们Háizimen,想xiǎng玩儿wánr就jiù进来jìnlái玩儿wánr吧ba!”/Al pensar esto, el gigante se puso manos a la obra enseguida, quitó el cartel, derribó el muro y les dijo a los niños: “¡Niños, si queréis jugar, entrad a jugar!”/Thinking of this, the giant immediately set to work taking down the sign and tearing down the wall, and said to the children: “Children, if you want to play, come on in and play!”
/Al oírlo, los niños se divirtieron aún más./Hearing this, the children had even more fun.
From then on, that garden became more and more beautiful, and more and more lovely.
/Los niños corrían y saltaban en el jardín, cantaban y reían, y se divertían mucho./The children ran and jumped in the garden, sang and laughed, and had a lot of fun.
想Xiǎng玩儿wánr就jiù进来jìnlái玩儿wánr吧ba!/¡Si queréis jugar, entrad a jugar!/If you want to play, come on in and play!
