勇敢的yǒnggǎnde试飞者shìfēizhě/El valiente piloto de pruebas/The Brave Test Pilot
/Song Qingling fue la esposa del gran pionero revolucionario Sun Yat-sen./Song Qingling was the wife of the great revolutionary pioneer Sun Yat-sen.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, she held positions such as Vice President of the State, and before her death was honorarily named Honorary President of the People's Republic of China.
/Song Qingling tenía un porte digno, y un carácter firme y valiente./Song Qingling had a dignified bearing, and a resolute, brave character.
/Una tarde de julio de 1923, en Guangzhou el cielo estaba despejado y el sol brillaba radiante./One afternoon in July 1923, in Guangzhou the sky was clear and the sun shone brilliantly.
At a simple airfield in the suburbs, hundreds of people arrived with great enthusiasm to attend an unusual airplane test flight ceremony.
/Song Qingling, junto con Sun Yat-sen, llegó temprano al aeropuerto, con el ánimo especialmente emocionado./Song Qingling, along with Mr. Sun Yat-sen, arrived early at the airfield, feeling especially excited.
Sun Yat-sen greatly valued the development of the nation's aviation industry, and always hoped China could have its own manufactured airplanes.
/Para ello, nombró especialmente a alguien como director de la Oficina de Aviación y a la vez director de la fábrica de fabricación de aviones, con plena autoridad para dirigir el desarrollo de la aviación nacional./For this, he specially appointed someone as Director of the Aviation Bureau and concurrently director of the airplane manufacturing factory, with full authority to lead the development of the nation's aviation industry.
宋庆龄也Sòng Qìnglíngyě曾满怀期望地céngmǎnhuáiqīwàngde说shuō:“中国人Zhōngguórén要能yàonéng驾驶自己制造的jiàshǐzìjǐzhìzàode飞机fēijī,飞翔在fēixiángzài祖国的zǔguóde蓝天上lántiānshàng,那该有多好啊nàgāiyǒuduōhǎo'ā!”/Song Qingling también dijo con gran esperanza: “¡Qué maravilloso sería que los chinos pudiéramos pilotar aviones fabricados por nosotros mismos, volando en el cielo azul de nuestra patria!”/Song Qingling also once said with great hope: “How wonderful it would be for Chinese people to be able to fly airplanes we made ourselves, soaring in our motherland's blue sky!”
In June 1923, after several years of arduous effort, China's own assembled first airplane was finally successfully manufactured.
This airplane had no cockpit cover, had two seats, besides the pilot, it could carry one more person, that is, there could be a passenger participating in the test flight.
这位zhèwèi乘客chéngkè会huì是shì谁shuí呢ne?/¿Quién sería este pasajero?/Who would this passenger be?
/Ese día, se vio a Song Qingling, vestida con blusa blanca y falda negra, salir de la multitud, y caminar valientemente hacia el avión./That day, Song Qingling, dressed in a white blouse and black skirt, was seen leaving the crowd, and walking bravely towards the airplane.
The crowd stirred, everyone was very surprised, exchanging worried glances.
国家guójiā航空局hángkōngjú局长júzhǎng也yě担心dānxīn地de对duì孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān先生xiānsheng说shuō:“总统zǒngtǒng,这太zhètài危险wēixiǎn了le!”/El director de la Oficina Nacional de Aviación, también muy preocupado, le dijo al señor Sun Yat-sen: “¡Presidente, esto es demasiado peligroso!”/The Director of the National Aviation Bureau, also very worried, said to Mr. Sun Yat-sen: “President, this is too dangerous!”
是shì呀ya,这zhè毕竟bìjìng是shì一次yícì试飞shìfēi,万一wànyì失败shībài怎么办zěnmebàn?/Sí, después de todo era un vuelo de prueba, ¿qué pasaría si por casualidad fracasaba?/Yes, after all this was a test flight, what if by chance it failed? His worry made sense.
/Su preocupación tenía sentido. Hace varios años, aquí también se había realizado un vuelo de prueba, y en esa ocasión hubo un accidente, el piloto murió desafortunadamente gravemente herido./Several years earlier, a test flight had also been conducted here, and that time there was an accident, the pilot unfortunately died from severe injuries.
这次试飞zhècìshìfēi,又yòu有yǒu谁shuí能néng保证bǎozhèng绝对juéduì安全ānquán呢ne?/En este vuelo de prueba, ¿quién podría garantizar la seguridad absoluta?/In this test flight, who could guarantee absolute safety?
Many people came forward to persuade him, hoping Sun Yat-sen would dissuade Song Qingling from boarding the plane for the test flight.
Of course, that 'by chance' exists, but my wife is already prepared.
她说tāshuō,万一失事wànyīshīshì,也yě是shì值得zhíde的de,因为这是yīnwèizhèshì我们自己制造的wǒmenzìjǐzhìzàode飞机fēijī!”/Ella dice que, aunque hubiera un accidente, valdría la pena, ¡porque este es un avión fabricado por nosotros mismos!”/She says that, even if there were an accident, it would be worth it, because this is an airplane we made ourselves!”
After Sun Yat-sen finished speaking, he looked at Song Qingling, and she nodded, showing complete agreement.
/Song Qingling, con paso firme y ágil, subió al avión sin mostrar ni un rastro de miedo, y con rapidez se abrochó el cinturón de seguridad./Song Qingling, with a vigorous, steady stride, boarded the plane without showing any trace of fear, and swiftly fastened her seatbelt.
The plane taxied two circuits on the runway, then lifted off. In the blue sky, like a silver swallow, now suddenly climbing, now diving, now banking sideways.
/La espléndida exhibición de vuelo ganó rondas de aplausos./The splendid flight performance won rounds of applause.
当飞机dāngfēijī平稳地píngwěnde降落在jiàngluòzài跑道上时pǎodàoshàngshí,宋庆龄走下Sòng Qìnglíngzǒuxià飞机fēijī,抓住zhuāzhù孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān先生的xiānshengde双臂shuāngbì,激动jīdòng万分wànfēn地de说shuō:“先生xiānsheng,我们有了wǒmenyǒule自己的zìjǐde飞机fēijī!/Cuando el avión aterrizó suavemente en la pista, Song Qingling bajó del avión, tomó los brazos de Sun Yat-sen, y dijo con gran emoción: “¡Señor, ya tenemos nuestro propio avión!/When the plane landed smoothly on the runway, Song Qingling got off the plane, grasped Sun Yat-sen's arms, and said with great emotion: “Sir, we now have our own airplane!
自己的zìjǐde!”/¡Nuestro!”/Our own!”
孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān先生也xiānshengyě高兴地gāoxìngde说shuō:“是shì啊a,是shì啊a!”/Sun Yat-sen también dijo con alegría: “¡Sí, sí!”/Sun Yat-sen also said happily: “Yes, yes!”
Many years have passed, but the story of Song Qingling's brave test flight still circulates among the people.
