我爱wǒài台湾Táiwān岛dǎo——读dú《中国Zhōngguó最zuì大dà的de海岛hǎidǎo——台湾Táiwān》有感yǒugǎn/Amo la isla de Taiwán — Reflexión al leer “La isla más grande de China — Taiwán”/I Love the Island of Taiwan — Reflections on Reading “China's Largest Island — Taiwan”
/Papá me compró un libro, “La isla más grande de China — Taiwán”./Dad bought me a book, “China's Largest Island — Taiwan.”
/En cuanto tomé el libro, no pude esperar para leerlo, y quedé profundamente atraída por su contenido./As soon as I picked up the book, I couldn't wait to start reading, and I was deeply drawn in by its content.
I felt as if I had already arrived in Taiwan, at the pleasant scenic area of Datun Mountain.
啊a! ¡Ah, qué hermosa y rica es la isla de Taiwán!/Here, azaleas, lilies and wild chrysanthemums vied in beauty; among the trees and flowers, butterflies danced gracefully, dazzling my eyes; by the sea, I saw the extraordinary sight of thousands of flying fish leaping out of the water together; under the coconut trees, I drank cool sweet coconut juice, sharing brotherly longing with Taiwanese compatriots; I also climbed the majestic Ali Mountain, and arrived at the beautiful picturesque Sun Moon Lake. Ah, how beautiful and abundant is the island of Taiwan!
The section in the book “The Historic City of Tainan” is my favorite to read, because it let me learn about the heroic deeds of the national hero Zheng Chenggong in recovering Taiwan.
In 1661, Zheng Chenggong led more than three hundred warships and twenty-five thousand land and naval soldiers, braving the waves as they advanced from the mainland towards Taiwan.
I felt as if I could hear that “dong dong” sound of war drums, and the neighing of the war horses.
/Zheng Chenggong recuperó con éxito la preciosa isla de Taiwán de manos de los invasores, y desde entonces el pueblo taiwanés obtuvo la libertad./Zheng Chenggong successfully recovered the precious island of Taiwan from the invaders, and from then on the people of Taiwan gained freedom.
Táiwāndǎole!/¡Después de leer este libro, amo aún más nuestra isla de Taiwán!/After reading this book, I love our island of Taiwan even more!

三个sāngè和尚héshang的de故事gùshi——看kàn电影diànyǐng《三个sāngè和尚héshang》有感yǒugǎn/La historia de los tres monjes — Reflexión al ver la película “Los tres monjes”/The Story of the Three Monks — Reflections on Watching the Film “The Three Monks”
/“Los tres monjes” es verdaderamente una buena película, vívida e interesante, y llena de significado educativo./“The Three Monks” is truly a good film, lively and interesting, and rich in educational meaning.
/El comienzo de la película ya me atrapó./The beginning of the film already captivated me.
/Con el sonido claro y rítmico del pez de madera, en la pantalla apareció el subtítulo: “Un monje carga agua para beber, dos monjes llevan el agua entre los dos para beber”./Accompanied by the crisp, rhythmic sound of the wooden fish, on the screen appeared the subtitle: “One monk carries water to drink, two monks carry water together to drink.”
When the four big characters “Three Monks” appeared, the sound of the wooden fish suddenly stopped.
我正wǒzhèng纳闷nàmèn:“三个sāngè和尚怎么样héshangzěnmeyàng呢ne?”/Me estaba preguntando: “¿Qué pasará con los tres monjes?”/I was puzzled: “What will happen with the three monks?”
I found out that, in fact, the three monks ended up with no water to drink at all.
It turns out, when there was only one little monk, he had no one to rely on, so naturally he had to go fetch water himself; when another monk arrived, the two went together to carry water, but neither wanted to exert more effort, both wanted to take a little advantage; when an old monk also arrived, the three of them kept pushing the responsibility back and forth, all preferring to sit rather than go fetch water.
/Cuando comían, como no tenían agua para beber, no dejaban de tener hipo./When they ate, since they had no water to drink, they couldn't stop hiccupping.
I found it both funny and pitiable.
/Después, un ratón royó la vela del templo, la vela se cayó, y se desató un gran incendio en el templo./Later, a mouse gnawed through the candle in the temple, the candle fell over, and a great fire broke out in the temple.
/Ante esto, los tres monjes se aterraron./At this, the three monks panicked.
They no longer cared about who was at a disadvantage or who was taking advantage, they all rushed to fetch water.
/Unieron sus fuerzas y juntos apagaron el gran incendio./They joined forces and together extinguished the great fire.
This incident gave them a profound lesson, so they began working together to draw water, and even thought of a good solution: using a pulley to raise water, so they no longer had to worry about having no water to drink!
After watching the movie, I was truly happy that the three monks could finally cooperate amicably and help each other.

Pedagogical Commentary: Book review: agricultural life and labor vocabulary:
1. The transparency of form: Observing 潜 (qián) or 墨 (mò) helps connect the character's shape to its meaning, instead of memorizing it blindly.
2. The leap from character to word: These characters are rarely used alone; learning one opens the door to many new words.
3. Memory through context: Learning a character like 贼 (zéi) together with a real sentence helps far more than memorizing its meaning in isolation.
