As soon as the poster announcing that Molière himself would play the lead role was put up, people rushed to buy tickets, eager to see Molière's brilliant performance.
/Pero, en el teatro, Molière tenía el ceño fruncido, con el ánimo excepcionalmente abatido./But, in the theatre, Molière had his brows tightly knit, his mood exceptionally heavy.
/Unos días antes había pillado un fuerte resfriado, que empeoró aún más su ya grave enfermedad pulmonar./A few days earlier he had caught a severe cold, which made his already serious lung disease even worse.
He constantly felt dizzy and weak in his limbs, as if sensing he would soon bid farewell to this world.
His wife and the actors, seeing how serious his condition was, all, with tears in their eyes, urged him not to go on stage, and to wait until he felt a bit better before performing.
莫里哀Mòlǐ'āi听完tīngwán妻子qīzi和hé演员yǎnyuán的de话huà,沉思了chénsīle一会儿yíhuìr,毅然yìrán地de说shuō:“剧院jùyuàn五十wǔshí多个duōge职员zhíyuán都dōu在zài等待děngdài今天jīntiān的de工钱gōngqian来lái维持wéichí生活shēnghuó,我们wǒmen不演出búyǎnchū,他们tāmen怎么办zěnmebàn?/Molière, tras escuchar las palabras de su esposa y los actores, reflexionó un momento y dijo con firmeza: “Más de cincuenta empleados del teatro esperan el salario de hoy para vivir, si no actuamos, ¿qué será de ellos?/Molière, after hearing his wife and the actors' words, reflected for a moment, and said resolutely: “More than fifty employees of the theatre are waiting for today's wages to make a living, if we don't perform, what will happen to them?
/Tantos espectadores fuera quieren ver esta noche nuestro nuevo espectáculo, ¿podemos decepcionarlos? 3.
Pedagogical Commentary: Thunder of science: scientific discoveries and natural laws:
1. The transparency of form: Observing 宙 (zhòu) or 括 (kuò) helps connect the character's shape to its meaning, instead of memorizing it blindly.
2. The leap from character to word: These characters are rarely used alone; learning one opens the door to many new words.
3. Memory through context: Learning a character like 谓 (wèi) together with a real sentence helps far more than memorizing its meaning in isolation.
