Pedagogical Commentary: The wolf is coming: a fable about honesty and trust: 1. The transparency of form: Observing 狼 (láng) or 干 (gàn) helps connect the character's shape to its meaning, instead of memorizing it blindly. 2. The leap from character to word: These characters are rarely used alone; learning one opens the door to many new words. 3. Memory through context: Learning a character like 弄 (nòng) together with a real sentence helps far more than memorizing its meaning in isolation.
