活字Huózì印刷术yìnshuāshù/La imprenta de tipos móviles/Movable Type Printing
活字Huózì印刷术yìnshuāshù是shì中国Zhōngguó古代gǔdài四大发明sìdàfāmíng之一zhīyī。/La imprenta de tipos móviles es uno de los cuatro grandes inventos de la antigua China./Movable type printing is one of the four great inventions of ancient China.
宋朝Sòngcháo时shí，有yǒu个gè印刷yìnshuā工人gōngrén叫jiào毕昇Bì Shēng。/En la dinastía Song, había un obrero impresor llamado Bi Sheng./In the Song dynasty, there was a printing worker named Bi Sheng.
他Tā既jì会huì刻字kèzì，又yòu会huì印刷yìnshuā，技艺jìyì出众chūzhòng。/Sabía tanto tallar caracteres como imprimir, y era muy hábil en su oficio./He knew both how to carve characters and how to print, and his skills were outstanding.
那时候Nàshíhou，刻板kèbǎn印刷yìnshuā成本chéngběn很hěn高gāo，每měi印yìn一种yìzhǒng书shū，都dōu要yào刻kè一次yícì板bǎn；印完yìnwán之后zhīhòu，这些zhèxiē刻板kèbǎn就jiù不能bùnéng再zài用来yònglái印yìn其他qítā书shū了le。/En aquella época, el costo de la impresión con planchas talladas era muy alto: para imprimir cada libro, había que tallar una plancha nueva; y después de terminar de imprimir, esas planchas ya no se podían usar para imprimir otros libros./At that time, the cost of block printing was very high: to print each book, a new block had to be carved; after printing was finished, these blocks could no longer be used to print other books.
毕昇Bì Shēng想xiǎng，要是Yàoshi能néng把bǎ一个一个的yígeyígede字zì分别fēnbié刻kè在zài一块块yíkuàikuài小xiǎo木头mùtou上shàng，然后ránhòu再zài拼pīn起来qǐlái印yìn书shū，用完yòngwán后hòu拆散chāisàn，这些zhèxiē字zì以后yǐhòu不就bújiù可以kěyǐ用来yònglái再zài印yìn其他qítā书shū了le吗ma？/Bi Sheng pensó: si se pudiera tallar cada carácter por separado en pequeños trozos de madera, y luego juntarlos para imprimir el libro, y después de usarlos desmontarlos, ¿no se podrían usar después esos caracteres para imprimir otros libros?/Bi Sheng thought: if each character could be carved separately on small blocks of wood, and then assembled to print a book, and taken apart after use, couldn't these characters then be used afterward to print other books?
于是Yúshì，他tā就jiù试着shìzhe用yòng这个zhège方法fāngfǎ刻字kèzì制版zhìbǎn印刷yìnshuā，结果Jiéguǒ发现fāxiàn木头mùtou不够búgòu坚硬jiānyìng，用不了yòngbuliǎo几jǐ次cì就jiù坏了huàile。/Así que probó a usar este método para tallar caracteres, hacer las planchas e imprimir, pero descubrió que la madera no era lo bastante dura, y se estropeaba después de usarla solo unas pocas veces./So he tried using this method to carve characters, make plates, and print, but found that the wood wasn't hard enough, and it broke after just a few uses.
怎么办Zěnmebàn呢ne？/¿Qué podía hacer?/What could he do?
毕昇Bì Shēng一时yìshí也yě想不出xiǎngbuchū其他qítā办法bànfǎ来lái。/Bi Sheng, de momento, tampoco se le ocurría otra solución./Bi Sheng, for the moment, couldn't think of another solution either.
有一天Yǒuyìtiān，毕昇Bì Shēng看见kànjiàn几jǐ个gè孩子háizi在zài玩wán色子shǎizi。/Un día, Bi Sheng vio a unos niños jugando a los dados./One day, Bi Sheng saw some children playing with dice.
他Tā走过去zǒuguòqù看了看kànlekàn，发现fāxiàn这zhè种zhǒng色子shǎizi非常fēicháng坚硬jiānyìng。/Se acercó a mirar, y descubrió que aquellos dados eran extremadamente duros./He walked over to take a look, and found that these dice were extremely hard.
一个yíge孩子háizi告诉gàosu他tā，色子shǎizi是shì用yòng泥ní做zuò的de，经过了jīngguòle火烧huǒshāo，所以suǒyǐ很hěn坚硬jiānyìng。/Un niño le contó que los dados estaban hechos de barro, y que habían pasado por el fuego, por eso eran tan duros./A child told him that the dice were made of clay, and had been fired, which was why they were so hard.
毕昇Bì Shēng由此yóucǐ受到shòudào启发qǐfā，他Tā想xiǎng，能不能néngbunéng把bǎ字zì刻kè在zài泥块níkuài上shàng呢ne？/A partir de esto, Bi Sheng recibió una inspiración: pensó, ¿no podría tallar los caracteres en bloques de barro?/From this, Bi Sheng got an idea: he thought, couldn't he carve the characters onto clay blocks?
他Tā一yī回到huídào家jiā，就jiù马上mǎshàng取来qǔlái泥ní，用yòng水shuǐ和好huòhǎo，做成zuòchéng一个个yígegè小xiǎo方块fāngkuài，再zài让ràng风fēng吹干chuīgān，然后ránhòu刻上kèshàng字zì，放到fàngdào火里huǒlǐ烧上shāoshang一段yíduàn时间shíjiān。/Nada más llegar a casa, fue a buscar barro, lo amasó con agua, hizo muchos pequeños cuadrados, los dejó secar al aire, luego talló los caracteres en ellos, y los puso al fuego durante un tiempo./As soon as he got home, he fetched some clay, mixed it with water, formed it into small square blocks, let them dry in the wind, then carved characters on them, and put them in the fire to bake for a while.
当Dāng这些zhèxiē小xiǎo方块fāngkuài被bèi取出来qǔchūlái时shí，它们Tāmen已经yǐjīng像xiàng瓷cí一样yíyàng坚硬jiānyìng耐用nàiyòng了le。/Cuando sacó esos pequeños cuadrados, ya eran tan duros y resistentes como la porcelana./When these small blocks were taken out, they were already as hard and durable as porcelain.
毕昇Bì Shēng把bǎ这个zhège办法bànfǎ告诉了gàosule其他qítā印刷yìnshuā工人gōngrén。/Bi Sheng le contó este método a otros trabajadores de imprenta./Bi Sheng told other printing workers about this method.
他们Tāmen一起yìqǐ做了zuòle许多xǔduō“活字huózì”，用来yònglái制版zhìbǎn印刷yìnshuā，效果Xiàoguǒ果然guǒrán很hěn好hǎo。/Juntos hicieron muchos “tipos móviles”, que usaron para hacer planchas e imprimir, y el resultado fue realmente bueno./Together they made many “movable type” pieces, used to make plates for printing, and the result was indeed very good.
这些Zhèxiē方块字fāngkuàizì拆下来chāixiàlái后hòu，还hái可以kěyǐ重复chóngfù使用shǐyòng。/Estos caracteres cuadrados, una vez desmontados, se podían volver a usar./These square character blocks, once taken apart, could be reused.
经过Jīngguò多次duōcì试验shìyàn，毕昇Bì Shēng终于zhōngyú发明了fāmíngle“活字印刷术huózìyìnshuāshù”。/Tras muchos experimentos, Bi Sheng finalmente inventó la “imprenta de tipos móviles”./After many experiments, Bi Sheng finally invented “movable type printing.”
后来Hòulái，活字印刷术huózìyìnshuāshù传到了chuándàole欧洲Ōuzhōu，又yòu传遍了chuánbiànle全quán世界shìjiè。/Más tarde, la imprenta de tipos móviles se transmitió a Europa, y se difundió por todo el mundo./Later, movable type printing spread to Europe, and then spread throughout the whole world.
像xiàng只zhī老鼠lǎoshǔ不会búhuì跑pǎo，像xiàng只zhī小xiǎo鸟niǎo没méi羽毛yǔmáo。/Parece un ratón que no puede correr, parece un pajarito sin plumas./Looks like a mouse that can't run, looks like a little bird with no feathers.
手指Shǒuzhǐ之间zhījiān连lián肉膜ròumó，扑棱扑棱pūlengpūleng飞fēi得de高gāo。/Entre los dedos tiene una membrana de piel, y revoloteando vuela muy alto./Between its fingers it has a membrane of skin, and flapping about it flies very high.
白天Báitiān睡shuì在zài山shān洞里dòngli，脚趾jiǎozhǐ抓zhuā物wù倒着dàozhe吊diào。/De día duerme en una cueva de la montaña, agarrándose con las garras cuelga boca abajo./By day it sleeps in a mountain cave, gripping with its claws it hangs upside down.
天黑Tiānhēi出来chūlái捉zhuō蚊虫wénchóng，飞行fēixíng技术jìshù最zuì高超gāochāo。/Al anochecer sale a cazar mosquitos, su técnica de vuelo es la más excelente./At nightfall it comes out to catch mosquitoes, its flying skill is the most superb.
眼睛Yǎnjing虽suī大dà看kàn不见bujiàn，全quán靠kào耳朵ěrduo找zhǎo目标mùbiāo。/Aunque sus ojos son grandes, no ven bien, se guía por completo con los oídos para encontrar su objetivo./Although its eyes are big, they can't see well, it relies entirely on its ears to find its target.
嘴巴Zuǐba发出fāchū超声波chāoshēngbō，碰上pèngshàng物体wùtǐ变biàn信号xìnhào。/La boca emite ultrasonidos, que al chocar con un objeto se convierten en una señal./Its mouth emits ultrasound, which turns into a signal upon hitting an object.
信号Xìnhào返回fǎnhuí耳朵里ěrduolǐ，大小dàxiǎo远近yuǎnjìn全quán知道zhīdào。/La señal regresa al oído, y así sabe perfectamente el tamaño y la distancia./The signal returns to its ear, and it knows the size and distance perfectly.
要是Yàoshi障碍zhàng'ài赶紧gǎnjǐn躲duǒ，要是yàoshi蚊虫wénchóng别bié想xiǎng逃táo。/Si hay un obstáculo, lo esquiva enseguida; si es un mosquito, que ni piense en escapar./If there's an obstacle, it dodges right away; if it's a mosquito, don't even think about escaping.
好似Hǎosì猛虎měnghǔ入rù羊群yángqún，”呱叽呱叽guājīguājī“吃chī个gè饱bǎo。/Es como un tigre feroz entrando en un rebaño de ovejas, “ñam ñam” hasta hartarse./It's like a fierce tiger entering a flock of sheep, “chomp chomp” eating until it's full.
Comentario Pedagógico: Los murciélagos y el radar: el descubrimiento científico y la biomímesis: 1. La transparencia de la forma: Observar 启 (qǐ) o 避 (bì) ayuda a conectar la forma del carácter con su significado, en vez de memorizarlo a ciegas. 2. El salto de carácter a palabra: Estos caracteres rara vez se usan solos; aprender uno abre la puerta a muchas palabras nuevas. 3. Memoria por contexto: Aprender un carácter como 绳 (shéng) junto con una frase real ayuda mucho más que memorizar su significado de forma aislada.
Pedagogical Commentary: Bats and radar: scientific discovery and biomimicry: 1. The transparency of form: Observing 启 (qǐ) or 避 (bì) helps connect the character's shape to its meaning, instead of memorizing it blindly. 2. The leap from character to word: These characters are rarely used alone; learning one opens the door to many new words. 3. Memory through context: Learning a character like 绳 (shéng) together with a real sentence helps far more than memorizing its meaning in isolation.
