１８３９年nián６月liùyuè３日sānrì下午xiàwǔ，在zài中国Zhōngguó广东Guǎngdōng虎门Hǔmén的de海边hǎibiān，成千上万chéngqiānshàngwàn的de人rén围住wéizhù两liǎng个gè新修xīnxiū的de方形fāngxíng大池dàchí，虽然Suīrán个个gègè挤jǐ得de满头大汗mǎntóudàhàn，但是dànshì谁shéi都dōu不bú在乎zàihu。/La tarde del 3 de junio de 1839, en la costa de Humen, en Guangdong, China, miles y miles de personas rodeaban dos grandes estanques cuadrados recién construidos; aunque todos estaban apretujados y sudando a chorros, a nadie le importaba./On the afternoon of June 3, 1839, on the coast of Humen, Guangdong, China, thousands upon thousands of people surrounded two newly built square pools; although everyone was packed tight and sweating heavily, no one minded.
忽然Hūrán，大家dàjiā的de视线shìxiàn都dōu集中jízhōng到dào了le一处yíchù。/De repente, todas las miradas se concentraron en un mismo punto./Suddenly, everyone's gaze focused on one spot.
原来Yuánlái，林则徐Lín Zéxú在zài许多xǔduō人rén的de陪同péitóng下xià走来zǒulái了le。/Resulta que Lin Zexu llegaba acompañado por mucha gente./It turned out that Lin Zexu was arriving, accompanied by many people.
人们Rénmen开始kāishǐ欢呼huānhū起来qǐlái。/La gente empezó a vitorear./The people began to cheer.
过了Guòle一会儿yíhuìr，海边hǎibiān响起了xiǎngqǐle礼炮声lǐpàoshēng。/Un momento después, en la costa resonaron disparos de salva./After a while, salutes of cannon fire rang out along the coast.
炮声Pàoshēng过后guòhòu，在zài林则徐Lín Zéxú的de亲自qīnzì指挥zhǐhuī下xià，一群群yìqúnqún农民nóngmín一边yìbiān呐喊着nàhǎnzhe，一边yìbiān飞快地fēikuàide踩动cǎidòng水车shuǐchē，水shuǐ“哗哗huāhuā”地de流进了liújìnle大池dàchí。/Tras las salvas, bajo la dirección personal de Lin Zexu, grupos de campesinos, gritando con fuerza, pisaban rápidamente las norias, y el agua entraba “chapoteando” en los grandes estanques./After the salutes, under Lin Zexu's personal command, groups of farmers, shouting loudly, pedaled the waterwheels rapidly, and water gushed “splashing” into the pools.
一队队Yíduìduì工人gōngrén先xiān大把大把地dàbǎdàbǎde往wǎng池里chílǐ撒sǎ盐yán，接着jiēzhe又yòu把bǎ一块块yíkuàikuài黑乎乎的hēihūhūde东西dōngxi扔进rēngjìn池里chílǐ。/Filas de trabajadores primero echaron puñados y puñados de sal en los estanques, y después arrojaron dentro trozos de una sustancia oscura./Rows of workers first threw handful after handful of salt into the pools, then tossed in chunks of a dark, murky substance.
随后Suíhòu，他们tāmen又yòu往wǎng池里chílǐ倒dào石灰shíhuī。/Después, también echaron cal en los estanques./Afterward, they also poured lime into the pools.
顿时Dùnshí，水池shuǐchí里lǐ的de水shuǐ不停地bùtíngde翻滚fāngǔn起来qǐlái，冒出màochū团团tuántuán白烟báiyān，人们rénmen又yòu一次yícì欢呼huānhū起来qǐlái。/De inmediato, el agua de los estanques empezó a hervir sin cesar, echando bocanadas de humo blanco, y la gente volvió a vitorear./Immediately, the water in the pools began to churn and boil, sending up billows of white smoke, and the people cheered once again.
原来Yuánlái，那些nàxiē黑乎乎的hēihūhūde东西dōngxi，正是zhèngshì毒害dúhài中国Zhōngguó人民rénmín的de鸦片yāpiàn。/Resulta que aquella sustancia oscura era precisamente el opio que envenenaba al pueblo chino./It turned out that the dark substance was exactly the opium that was poisoning the Chinese people.
这Zhè两liǎng个gè方形fāngxíng大池dàchí正是zhèngshì为了wèile销毁xiāohuǐ鸦片yāpiàn而ér专门zhuānmén建造jiànzào的de。/Estos dos grandes estanques cuadrados se habían construido especialmente para destruir el opio./These two square pools had been built specifically to destroy the opium.
一会儿Yíhuìr，水池shuǐchí的de闸门zhámén打开了dǎkāile，销毁了xiāohuǐle的de鸦片yāpiàn随着suízhe池水chíshuǐ流进了liújìnle大海dàhǎi。/Poco después, se abrieron las compuertas de los estanques, y el opio destruido fluyó junto con el agua hacia el mar./A little while later, the sluice gates of the pools were opened, and the destroyed opium flowed with the water out into the sea.
虎门Hǔmén销烟xiāoyān从cóng６月liùyuè３日sānrì开始kāishǐ，直到zhídào６月liùyuè２５日èrshíwǔrì才cái告gào一段落yíduànluò。/La destrucción del opio en Humen comenzó el 3 de junio y no llegó a su fin hasta el 25 de junio./The destruction of opium at Humen began on June 3 and did not come to a close until June 25.
在Zài短短的duǎnduǎnde二十多天èrshíduōtiān里lǐ，共gòng销毁xiāohuǐ鸦片yāpiàn一百多万yìbǎiduōwàn公斤gōngjīn。/En esos escasos veinte y tantos días, se destruyeron en total más de un millón de kilogramos de opio./In those brief twenty-odd days, more than a million kilograms of opium were destroyed in total.
虎门Hǔmén销烟xiāoyān使shǐ林则徐Lín Zéxú成了chéngle中国Zhōngguó近代史jìndàishǐ上shàng的de民族mínzú英雄yīngxióng。/La destrucción del opio en Humen convirtió a Lin Zexu en un héroe nacional de la historia moderna de China./The Humen opium destruction made Lin Zexu a national hero in China's modern history.
