场景一/Chǎngjǐng yī/Escena 1/Scene 1

(Baobao) 攒了一些 (Paga/Pocket money) ，可是他没有买零食，买了三本书。

(宝宝Bǎobǎo) había ahorrado algo de (零花钱línghuāqián) , pero no se compró chucherías, sino tres libros.

(宝宝Bǎobǎo) had saved some (零花钱línghuāqián) , but instead of snacks he bought three books.

场景二/Chǎngjǐng èr/Escena 2/Scene 2

(Papá,padre/Dad,father) 说：‘你像 (Sun Yat-sen/Sun Yat-sen) 一样爱读书！’ (Dudú) 问：‘ (Sun Yat-sen/Sun Yat-sen) 是谁？’

(爸爸Bàba) dijo: ‘¡Te gusta leer tanto como a (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) !’. (嘟嘟Dūdū) preguntó: ‘¿Quién es (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) ?’.

(爸爸Bàba) said, ‘You love reading just like (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) !’ (嘟嘟Dūdū) asked, ‘Who is (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) ?’

场景三/Chǎngjǐng sān/Escena 3/Scene 3

(Papá,padre/Dad,father) 说：‘ (Sun Yat-sen/Sun Yat-sen) 是中国 (Democracia/Democracy) (Revolución/Revolution) 的伟大 (Precursor/Forerunner) ，他 (Toda la vida/Whole life) 都爱读书。’

(爸爸Bàba) dijo: ‘ (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) fue el gran (先行者xiānxíngzhě) de la (革命gémìng) (民主mínzhǔ) de China, y le encantó leer (一生yìshēng) ’.

(爸爸Bàba) said, ‘ (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) was the great (先行者xiānxíngzhě) of China's (民主mínzhǔ) (革命gémìng) , and he loved reading his (一生yìshēng) .’

场景四/Chǎngjǐng sì/Escena 4/Scene 4

‘他在英国 (Estudiar en el extranjero/Study abroad) 的时候，生活很 (Duro/Hard) ， (Casi/Almost) 没有钱吃饭。’

‘Cuando (留学liúxué) , en Inglaterra, su vida era muy (艰苦jiānkǔ) ; (几乎jīhū) no tenía dinero para comer’.

‘When he (留学liúxué) in England, his life was very (艰苦jiānkǔ) ; he (几乎jīhū) had no money for food.’

场景五/Chǎngjǐng wǔ/Escena 5/Scene 5

‘有几个中国 (Estudiante extranjero/Overseas student) 一起 (Juntar dinero/Pool money) ，送给他四十 (Libra esterlina/Pound sterling) 。’

‘Unos (留学生liúxuéshēng) chinos (凑钱còuqián) y le regalaron cuarenta (英镑yīngbàng) ’.

‘A few Chinese (留学生liúxuéshēng) (凑钱còuqián) and gave him forty (英镑yīngbàng) .’

场景六/Chǎngjǐng liù/Escena 6/Scene 6

‘三天后，他们去 (Residencia/Dormitory) 看他， (Llamar a la puerta/Knock on the door) 敲了 (Un buen rato/A long while) ，都没有人 (Contestar/Answer) 。房东的 (Muchacha/Girl) 说：‘他一直在屋里看书呢！’’

‘Tres días después fueron a verlo a la (宿舍sùshè) . Estuvieron (敲门qiāomén) (半天bàntiān) , pero nadie (答应dāying) . La (姑娘gūniang) de la casera dijo: ‘¡No ha parado de leer!’’.

‘Three days later, they went to see him at his (宿舍sùshè) . They (敲门qiāomén) for (半天bàntiān) , but nobody (答应dāying) . The landlady's (姑娘gūniang) said, ‘He's been reading in his room all along!’’

场景七/Chǎngjǐng qī/Escena 7/Scene 7

‘过了好久， (Sun Yat-sen/Sun Yat-sen) 才来开门，说：‘请 (Perdonar/Forgive) ，我在看书，没听见。’’

‘Mucho después, (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) abrió y dijo: ‘ (原谅yuánliàng) , estaba leyendo y no os he oído’’.

‘After a long time, (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) opened the door and said, ‘Please (原谅yuánliàng) me, I was reading and didn't hear you.’’

场景八/Chǎngjǐng bā/Escena 8/Scene 8

‘他的 (Mesa/Table) 上 (Llenar/Cover) 了新书， (Aproximadamente/About) (Necesitar/Need) 三十 (Libra esterlina/Pound sterling) 。’

‘Su (桌子zhuōzi) estaba (摆满bǎimǎn) de libros nuevos, que habían (需要xūyào) (大概dàgài) treinta (英镑yīngbàng) ’.

‘His (桌子zhuōzi) was (摆满bǎimǎn) with new books that would (需要xūyào) (大概dàgài) thirty (英镑yīngbàng) .’

场景九/Chǎngjǐng jiǔ/Escena 9/Scene 9

‘同学们说：‘你 (Deber/Should) 好好吃饭，别把身体 (Estropear/Ruin) 了！’ (Sun Yat-sen/Sun Yat-sen) 说：‘吃饭的钱够了，我用 (Sobrar/Be left over) 的钱买书。买书比买吃的更 (Importante/Important) 。’’

‘Sus compañeros le dijeron: ‘¡ (应该yīnggāi) comer bien, no te (搞坏gǎohuài) la salud!’. (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) respondió: ‘Tengo bastante para comer; con el dinero que (剩下shèngxia) compro libros. Comprar libros es más (重要zhòngyào) que comprar comida’’.

‘His friends said, ‘You (应该yīnggāi) eat properly; don't (搞坏gǎohuài) your health!’ (孙中山Sūn Zhōngshān) said, ‘I have enough for food; I buy books with the money (剩下shèngxia) . Buying books is more (重要zhòngyào) than buying food.’’

场景十/Chǎngjǐng shí/Escena 10/Scene 10

(Baobao) 说：‘我也要用 (Sobrar/Be left over) 的 (Paga/Pocket money) 买书！’ (Dudú) 说：‘那我把零食分给你！’

(宝宝Bǎobǎo) dijo: ‘¡Yo también voy a comprar libros con la (零花钱línghuāqián) que me (剩下shèngxia) !’. (嘟嘟Dūdū) dijo: ‘¡Entonces yo te doy mis chucherías!’.

(宝宝Bǎobǎo) said, ‘I'll buy books with the (零花钱línghuāqián) I have (剩下shèngxia) too!’ (嘟嘟Dūdū) said, ‘Then I'll share my snacks with you!’
