聪明的Cōngmíngde杨修Yáng Xiū/El astuto Yang Xiu/The Clever Yang Xiu
三国Sānguó时期shíqī，曹操Cáo Cāo身边有个shēnbiānyǒugè谋士叫móushìjiào杨修Yáng Xiū。/Durante la época de los Tres Reinos, junto a Cao Cao había un consejero llamado Yang Xiu./During the Three Kingdoms period, beside Cao Cao there was an advisor named Yang Xiu.
杨修博学多才Yáng Xiūbóxuéduōcái，非常fēicháng聪明cōngming。/Yang Xiu era muy erudito y talentoso, y sumamente inteligente./Yang Xiu was very learned and talented, and extremely intelligent.
有一次Yǒuyícì，一位yíwèi外国wàiguó大使dàshǐ送来sònglái一盒yìhé奶酪nǎilào。/Una vez, un embajador extranjero envió una caja de queso./Once, a foreign ambassador sent a box of cheese.
曹操Cáo Cāo看了kànle一下yíxià，就jiù提笔tíbǐ在zài盒盖上hégàishang写了xiěle“一合yìhé酥sū”三个字sāngèzì，然后叫Ránhòujiào手下人shǒuxiàrén把bǎ奶酪nǎilào给gěi大家dàjiā。/Cao Cao la miró, y con el pincel escribió en la tapa de la caja tres caracteres: “一合酥” (una caja de queso), y luego mandó a su gente que repartiera el queso entre todos./Cao Cao looked at it, and with his brush wrote three characters on the box lid: “一合酥” (one box of cheese), and then ordered his subordinates to distribute the cheese to everyone.
大家见Dàjiājiàn曹操不Cáo Cāobù说话shuōhuà，都不知道dōubùzhīdào这是Zhèshì什么shénme意思yìsi。/Al ver que Cao Cao no decía nada, todos no sabían qué significaba aquello./Seeing that Cao Cao said nothing, everyone didn't know what this meant.
这时Zhèshí，杨修正好Yáng Xiūzhènghǎo走过来zǒuguòlái。/En ese momento, Yang Xiu pasó justo por allí./At that moment, Yang Xiu happened to walk by.
看到盒Kàndàohé盖上gàishàng的de三个字sāngèzì，他二话没说Tā'èrhuàméishuō，就吃了jiùchīle一口yìkǒu奶酪nǎilào，然后叫Ránhòujiào大家每人dàjiāměirén吃一口chīyìkǒu。/Al ver los tres caracteres escritos en la tapa de la caja, sin decir nada más, se comió un bocado de queso, y luego mandó a todos que comieran cada uno un bocado./Seeing the three characters written on the box lid, without saying another word, he ate a bite of cheese, and then told everyone to each eat a bite.
众人都用Zhòngréndōuyòng怀疑的huáiyíde眼光望着yǎnguāngwàngzhe杨修Yáng Xiū，问wèn他是tāshì怎么zěnme猜出cāichū曹操Cáo Cāo意思的yìside。/Todos miraban a Yang Xiu con ojos de duda, preguntándole cómo había adivinado la intención de Cao Cao./Everyone looked at Yang Xiu with doubtful eyes, asking him how he had guessed Cao Cao's intention.
杨修笑了笑Yáng Xiūxiàolexiào说shuō：“一合yìhé酥sū，把bǎ'合hé'字zì拆开chāikāi，连起来liánqǐlái读就是dújiùshì一人一口酥yìrényìkǒusū，这Zhè分明fēnmíng就是jiùshì叫jiào我们wǒmen每人měirén吃一口chīyìkǒu啊a。”/Yang Xiu sonrió y dijo: “'Una caja de queso' [一合酥]: si separas el carácter '合' y lo lees seguido, es 'una persona, un bocado de queso' [一人一口酥]; esto claramente significa que nos pide que cada uno coma un bocado.”/Yang Xiu smiled and said: “'One box of cheese' [一合酥]: if you split apart the character '合' and read it together, it becomes 'one person, one bite of cheese' [一人一口酥]; this clearly means he's asking each of us to eat a bite.”
大家这才恍然大悟Dàjiāzhècáihuǎngrándàwù，于是就一人Yúshìjiùyìrén吃了chīle一口yìkǒu。/Solo entonces todos comprendieron de repente, y así cada uno comió un bocado./Only then did everyone suddenly understand, and so each person ate a bite.
过了Guòle一会儿yíhuìr，曹操走了Cáo Cāozǒule过来guòlái，看见kànjiàn奶酪都吃完了nǎilàodōuchīwánle，只剩zhǐshèng一个yíge空kōng盒子hézi放在fàngzài那儿nàr，就问jiùwèn：“奶酪呢Nǎilàone？”/Después de un rato, Cao Cao llegó, y al ver que el queso ya se había terminado, y solo quedaba una caja vacía puesta allí, preguntó: “¿Y el queso?”/After a while, Cao Cao came over, and seeing that the cheese was all eaten up, with only an empty box left there, asked: “Where's the cheese?”
手下人shǒuxiàrén回答说huídáshuō：“您不是Nínbúshì叫jiào我们一人吃一口wǒmenyìrénchīyìkǒu的de吗ma？/Los subordinados respondieron: “¿No nos dijo usted que cada uno comiera un bocado?/His subordinates replied: “Didn't you tell us to each eat a bite?
我们都吃完了Wǒmendōuchīwánle。”/Ya nos lo hemos terminado todo.”/We've finished it all.”
曹操又Cáo Cāoyòu问wèn：“是Shì谁shéi告诉gàosu你们一人吃一口nǐmenyìrénchīyìkǒu的de？”/Cao Cao volvió a preguntar: “¿Quién les dijo que cada uno comiera un bocado?”/Cao Cao asked again: “Who told you to each eat a bite?”
大家Dàjiā回答是huídáshì杨修Yáng Xiū。/Todos respondieron que había sido Yang Xiu./Everyone answered that it was Yang Xiu.
曹操点了点头Cáo Cāodiǎnlediǎntóu，暗暗àn'àn佩服pèifú：杨修真Yáng Xiūzhēn聪明cōngming！/Cao Cao asintió con la cabeza, admirándolo en secreto: ¡Qué inteligente es Yang Xiu!/Cao Cao nodded, secretly admiring him: How clever Yang Xiu is!
又Yòu有一次yǒuyícì，曹操CáoCāo带领dàilǐng一行yìxíng人去rénqù视察shìchá一座yízuò新xīn建造jiànzào的de花园huāyuán。当Dāng走过一道门zǒuguòyídàomén时shí，曹操停了Cáo Cāotíngle下来xiàlái，对着duìzhe门mén看了kànle一会儿yíhuìr，什么话也没说shénmehuàyěméishuō，用yòng笔bǐ在zài门上ménshang写了个xiělege“活huó”字zì，然后Ránhòu就jiù领着lǐngzhe一行yìxíng人rén走zǒu了le。/Otra vez, Cao Cao llevó a un grupo a inspeccionar un jardín recién construido. 众人问Zhòngrénwèn：“您是Nínshì怎么zěnme知道的zhīdàode？”杨修笑着Yáng Xiūxiàozhe说shuō：“门里Ménlǐ加个jiāgè'活huó'字zì，不是个búshìgè'阔kuò'字zì吗ma？”/La gente preguntó: “¿Cómo lo sabe?” Yang Xiu, sonriendo, dijo: “Si dentro del carácter '门' (puerta) le agregas el carácter '活', ¿no forma acaso el carácter '阔' (ancho)?”/Everyone asked: “How do you know that?” Yang Xiu, smiling, said: “If you add the character '活' inside the character '门' (gate), doesn't it form the character '阔' (wide)?”
经Jīng杨修这么一说Yáng Xiūzhèmeyìshuō，大家这才明白过来Dàjiāzhècáimíngbaiguòlái。/Tras esta explicación de Yang Xiu, todos por fin lo entendieron./After this explanation from Yang Xiu, everyone finally understood.
于是Yúshì，人们就把rénmenjiùbǎ原来的yuánláide门拆了ménchāile，重新建了chóngxīnjiànle一个窄一点儿yígezhǎiyìdiǎnr的de门mén。/Así que, la gente derribó la puerta original, y construyó de nuevo una puerta un poco más estrecha./So, people tore down the original gate, and rebuilt a slightly narrower gate.
过了Guòle几天jǐtiān，曹操又Cáo Cāoyòu来到这个láidàozhège花园huāyuán，看见kànjiàn那道门nàdàomén已经改窄了yǐjīnggǎizhǎile，就问jiùwèn：“是Shì谁叫shéijiào你们改的nǐmengǎide？”/Unos días después, Cao Cao volvió a este jardín, y al ver que aquella puerta ya se había estrechado, preguntó: “¿Quién les mandó cambiarla?”/A few days later, Cao Cao came back to this garden, and seeing that gate had already been narrowed, asked: “Who told you to change it?”
手下人shǒuxiàrén回答说huídáshuō：“是Shì杨修Yáng Xiū。”/Los subordinados respondieron: “Fue Yang Xiu.”/His subordinates replied: “It was Yang Xiu.”
曹操听了Cáo Cāotīngle不由得连连bùyóudéliánlián点头diǎntóu，说shuō：“杨修真是Yáng Xiūzhēnshì个gè聪明人cōngmíngrén！”/Al oírlo, Cao Cao no pudo evitar asentir repetidamente, diciendo: “¡Yang Xiu de verdad es un hombre inteligente!”/Hearing this, Cao Cao couldn't help nodding repeatedly, saying: “Yang Xiu is truly a clever man!”
