Así los alumnos amplían su vocabulario.
3. La gratitud: El texto cuenta la historia del pozo de Shazhouba. La frase “吃水不忘挖井人” se ha convertido en una expresión habitual de agradecimiento, parecida al proverbio “饮水思源” (al beber agua, recuerda el manantial). Se puede pedir a los alumnos que digan a quién deberían dar las gracias en su vida diaria.
Pedagogical Commentary: When Drinking Water, Remember Who Dug the Well: a well and a phrase of gratitude:
1. Grouping by component: 吃 (chī) and 叫 (jiào) carry the “口” (mouth) component and relate to the mouth; 江 (jiāng) and 没 (méi) carry the three water dots. Sorting characters by component makes them easier to remember.
2. One character, several words: The “读一读,记一记” section builds two words from each character: 井 (jǐng) → 水井, 井口; 亲 (qīn) → 乡亲, 亲人; 面 (miàn) → 上面, 面前; 战 (zhàn) → 战士, 战友. This helps students build vocabulary.
3. Gratitude: The text tells the story of the well at Shazhouba. The phrase “吃水不忘挖井人” has become a common expression of gratitude, similar to the proverb “饮水思源” (when drinking water, think of its source). Students can talk about the people they should thank in their daily lives.
